Our Roots & Vision
The FEJ brand is a Lagos-based sustainable fashion house designed to empower and inspire individuals to step into their most confident and highest selves—unapologetically, and without the need for comparison.
Established in 2020 by Ekrebe Ofejiro (Coco Fej), the brand is the realization of a lifelong dream. Coco has been designing and constructing garments since she was just 7 years old, treating the needle and thread as her favorite play toys and spending endless days immersed in the art of dress-up.
Growing up to build her own fashion house was an inevitable destiny, leading to the start of production in December 2020.
Sustainability at the Core
Following her graduation from college in 2017 with a degree in Environmental Health Science, Coco made the deliberate choice to anchor FEJ in sustainable fashion rather than fast fashion. Her academic background and deep-rooted knowledge in environmental health have profoundly shaped the brand’s foundational vision: minimizing waste, honoring the planet, and proving that high-end design can coexist with ecological responsibility.
Storytelling Through Garments
Over the years, FEJ has curated a series of limited-edition, timeless collections that have captured hearts and defined silhouettes.
Every collection is an exercise in storytelling through fabrics, prints, colors, and structural design. We treat fashion as a vital medium for self-expression—a tool to boost confidence, champion self-love, and encourage every wearer to never play small.
As we look ahead, FEJ is deepening its focus on what we do best. Creating bold, highly intentional pieces with distinct narratives. Our commitment to the planet evolves with us as we continue to champion sustainable practices, proving that slow fashion, exclusivity, and striking aesthetics can coexist seamlessly.
